*1. Grinding - This is the most popular and quite possibly boring ways of getting gold. There is quite a bit of potential in grinding but you need to have the patience. I recommend playing a little music to keep yourself focused.

*2. Gathering - Using your gathering skills can be one of the most lucrative ways to gold in World of Warcraft. To make your character profitable even while leveling, you should definitely use gathering skills.

*3. Auction House - Playing the auction house is my personal favorite. The one thing to remember when doing this is buy low and sell high. You can profit off of others mistakes and make a killing reselling the bargains you buy.

*4. Professions - Use your professions not only to benefit yourself but also to benefit your gold bag. It might take a little effort but I've seen thousands of gold made through someone using their professions.

*5. Reselling Items From Vendors - Tons of rare items are sold from vendors all over Azeroth, you just have to locate them and then just resell the items you acquired for a very low price at a much much high price. These rare items include the Prairie Dog Whitles and the Wedding Dress.

*6. Fishing - This secondary profession can seriously make you a ton of gold in a short amount of time. I know a lot of WoW players who dedicate hours every single day to fishing just because they make so much gold with it.

*7. Trade Channel - A lot of action goes on in the trade channel. Take advantage of the trade channel and keep track of the deals that come in and out.
